par Fabien Eckert – Le musicien vaudois présentera «Returning», son dernier album. Une météorite electro à admirer vendredi 17 février 2012 à la Parenthèse.

Xewin, Sylvain Ehinger de son vrai nom, est un explorateur. Il convie le mélomane à ouvrir à ses côtés de nouvelles routes musicales dans la galaxie electro. Comment? Simplement grâce à des sons bidouillés, samplés, augmentés, tordus ou torturés. Le résultat, surprenant, navigue entre electro sombre et dure et titres pop plus légers.

Il n’en reste pas moins que la musique du Vaudois peut paraître, de prime abord, compliquée. Mais il a eu l’intelligence de la rendre plus accessible en tissant un fil rouge vocal le long des treize pistes du disque. Sur une majorité des titres, des voix, bien réelles, d’ici et d’ailleurs, sont donc présentes. Ainsi, on retrouve Lyn, chanteuse du groupe genevois Aloan, le musicien Lausannois Fauve, la slammeuse suédoise Yarah Bravo et le timbre soul et chaleureux de Bobby Johnson.
D’ailleurs, ces deux derniers artistes seront sur scène aux côtés de Xewin pour sa venue nyonnaise.
